The academic and administrative staff of the institution, parents and a considerable number of students was present during the welcoming ceremony organized on the occasion.
Having welcomed the attendants, the rector of the institution Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, during his welcoming speech emphasized “What is important for each student is to prepare itself for the current challenges and the ones you are going to experience not only on the academic journey but throughout all your life as well. These 3 years pass very quickly. Thus, make sure to settle a solid basis in your academic and professional formation”.
The opening ceremony went on with the welcoming speeches of two deans of respectively the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences.
Further, the new students were introduced with the composition of respective departments, basic information about the university and administrative units as well.
