Robert Gajda, guest at Brownbag Seminars

Within the framework of the "Brownbag Seminars" cycle, Mr. Robert Gajda, the Commissioner for the Protection from Discrimination held an open lecture where he shared with the students and the attendees views on the topic "Protection against Discrimination".

During the conversation, Gajda made a general analysis of the concept of discrimination for various reasons and the current situation in Albania. He focused on addressing international and especially national legislation by analyzing the provisions of the Constitution and the Law on Protection from Discrimination in this area.

Among other things, he explained the procedures that every citizen should face when faced with different discrimination cases, stressing that each individual must address the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination so that problems or conflicts do not remain unresolved. Mr. Gajda also mentioned a variety of measures taken against different subjects due to the discrimination that has occurred with different citizens in various fields, especially in education, health and employment. In addition, he also pointed out the great role he has played and will play the game in reducing the scale of the problem.
